Since its establishment in October 2013, Viva La Fleur Floral Boutique has impressed businesses with its enduring, all-natural floral arrangements and bouquets. The company holds the exclusive distribution rights for LavieFlo, a technology that makes flowers appear freshly cut for months, eliminating the need for water or sunlight.
Sourced globally, fresh flowers from countries like Japan and China undergo a meticulous preservation process. This process substitutes the plant’s sap with a solution that retains the natural appearance and texture of the petals and leaves.
“This groundbreaking technique was pioneered by a French company in the late 1980s. Over time, Japanese and Chinese botanists have refined this technology,” shared Kayson Wong, Director of Viva La Fleur. “Importantly, only non-toxic, cosmetic-grade chemicals are used in this procedure.”
As the first provider of such flowers in Singapore, Viva La Fleur has been conducting roadshows to educate the public. “Initially, people mistook them for artificial flowers. They are always astonished to learn these are real flowers capable of lasting so long. Many customers who buy one bouquet come back for more after witnessing the flowers’ longevity firsthand. They become our advocates, spreading the word,” explained Wong.
Wong estimates the average lifespan of each arrangement to be three to six months, taking into account factors like handling and environmental conditions. “Unlike fresh flowers, these won’t wilt,” he assured. “A quick blow with a hairdryer on a cool setting from a safe distance will easily remove any dust.”
Viva La Fleur has fulfilled orders for a diverse clientele, including hotels, hospitality businesses, retailers, restaurants, and country clubs. “Businesses, particularly hotels, appreciate customized flower arrangements that reflect their brand aesthetics and design ethos,” remarked Wong. “We cater to various needs – some purchase larger arrangements for their offices while others prefer smaller ones for individual desks, depending on the occasion.”
For those interested in experiencing these unique floral arrangements firsthand, Viva La Fleur’s boutique is located at 30 East Coast Road, #02-23, Katong V mall within the Village Katong Hotel. The boutique welcomes visitors daily from 11 am to 9 pm. Inquiries can also be made via email at info@vivalafleur.com.sg or by phone at +65 6440 0642.
Furthermore, the company launched an e-commerce portal on November 1st. The online store features curated collections categorized by theme, such as ‘Commercial,’ ‘Gifts,’ and ‘Special Events.’ A new selection of floral arrangements showcasing a variety of flower types like roses, hydrangeas, eustomas, gerberas, and carnations is available for browsing.
“We are expanding our floral offerings to include even more varieties, such as calla lilies, tube roses, pompom mums, spray mums, and the ever-popular dendrobiums,” added Wong. “Currently, we are running an anniversary sale with discounts of up to 50% on selected arrangements.”
Serena Cheu, a Senior Marketing Director and loyal customer, shared her experience: “Initially, I was skeptical. I had never encountered such flowers in Singapore before and couldn’t believe they were real. To my surprise, they are 100% natural, require neither water nor sunlight, and last remarkably long. These flowers have genuinely uplifted my mood and spirits. When I need a break from my demanding work, a glance at these flowers instantly rejuvenates me, filling me with renewed energy and positivity. They simply never fail to bring a smile to my face.”
