There are many options to choose from when it comes to Intel mobile devices

Thinking about buying a new PC? A laptop might be a better choice than a desktop, or maybe even a tablet. Intel powers a wider variety of devices than ever before.

Sumner Lemon, Country Manager for Intel Singapore & Malaysia, points out that “2015 is the Year of the Goat - an animal known for being curious, clever, and ambitious,” adding that “Intel shares these values as we continue to innovate and push the limits of computing.”

Intel’s recent Chinese New Year Gift Guide highlights the diverse range of Intel-powered mobile devices currently on the market:

The Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro, starting at S$2,299, features a unique hinge design inspired by high-end watch bands, allowing for versatile positioning.

The Acer Aspire Switch 12, priced at S$1,098, is marketed as a “5 in 1” device thanks to its ability to function as a laptop, a tablet (with or without the keyboard), and a desktop PC through its five modes: notebook, pad, display, tent, and desktop.

The Dell Inspiron 13 7000 Series, starting from S$1,199, is a classic “2-in-1” device, seamlessly blending a 13.3” tablet with a built-in stylus with the storage capacity and processing power of a laptop.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 3, starting at S$1,108, leans towards being a tablet but packs the performance of an ultrabook. It features a 12-inch high-definition display, a choice of Intel Core i3, i5, or i7 processors, and comes equipped with a stylus known as the Surface Pen.

Need something even more portable? The ASUS Transformer Book T100, starting at S$569, is a tablet with a detachable keyboard. It runs on Intel Atom processors, offers extended battery life, and includes a complimentary one-year subscription to Microsoft Office 365.

The Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 Pro, starting at S$1,199, distinguishes itself with a built-in projector.

If affordability is a top priority, the ASUS MeMO Pad 8, starting at S$499, might be the perfect fit. This 8-inch tablet boasts a quad-core Intel Atom processor, ensuring seamless multitasking, web browsing, and multimedia playback.

At an even more budget-friendly price point, the Acer Iconia Tab 8 W, starting at S$249, is a full-fledged Windows 8.1 tablet. It is equipped with a quad-core Intel processor and comes with a free one-year subscription to Microsoft Office 365, which typically costs S$98 per year for the Personal edition.

And for a different option, there’s the HP ENVY Recline 23 TouchSmart, a 27-inch all-in-one PC priced at S$2,099. It boasts an Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB of RAM, and a versatile stand that allows for numerous adjustments.
