Now in its second year, the massive three-part Festival of Fun combines the Magners International Comedy Festival, Nickelodeon Fiesta, and Clarke Quay StreetFest this March. The festival welcomes street performers from Covent Garden in the UK, beloved Nickelodeon characters, and award-winning comedians from around the globe.
Attendees can join in the festivities while also enjoying the diverse food and drink options at Clarke Quay’s many establishments. StreetFest and Nickelodeon Fiesta will be held at Fountain Square, while comedy acts can be seen at Beer Xchange, McGettigan’s, Crazy Elephant, Get Juiced, F-Club, and Shanghai Dolly.

Magners International Comedy Festival 8-11 March

The 5th annual Magners International Comedy Festival boasts acts such as Doug Stanhope from the US, UK’s Best Newcomer to Comedy 2016 Yuriko Kotani, Jim Brewski, winner of Hong Kong’s 2014 International Comedy Competition, and Canadian Brian Aylward, a familiar face in Bangkok’s comedy scene.
Representing Singapore in the Singapore versus Malaysia segment of the festival is Samuel See, who was recently featured on Channel 5’s Ok! Chope. He will be joined by Fakka Fuzz, whose highly anticipated Netflix debut Almost Banned is soon to be released, and Deepak Chandran, who is known for his comedic takes on local culture throughout his Asian tour. They will be up against Malaysia’s best – Kavin Jay and Sulaimon Azmil, both renowned for their jokes about Malaysian culture.
Nickelodeon Fiesta 10-11 March 2018
Back for its second year at the Singapore Festival of Fun, the two-day Nickelodeon Fiesta embraces a heritage theme, aligning with Clarke Quay’s rich history and celebrating Singapore’s love for food. Attendees can enjoy nine food-themed game booths where they can win limited-edition Nickelodeon collectibles, as well as stage games and photo opportunities with their favorite Nickelodeon characters.
Clarke Quay StreetFest 13-18 March
Experience incredible acrobatics, escapology, and daredevil stunts. Contortionist Bendy Em will squeeze into a 16-inch plexiglass box with a basketball, while the Betty Brawn Strong Lady displays her impressive strength by lifting two volunteers from the audience. Jump Stilts Extreme will astound with somersaults and tricks on stilts. Pancho Libre from Mexico will showcase his talent on the cyr wheel atop a pole, and Guinness World Record holder and escape artist Rob Roy Collins will perform a new ‘escape from chains’ routine.
Located along the famous Singapore River at the edge of Singapore’s Central Business District, Clarke Quay sits on a historic commercial site established in the 19th century. Clarke Quay comprises five waterfront buildings sheltered under a climate-controlled canopy illuminated with colorful lighting. The area offers a wide variety of over 60 restaurants, bars, and entertainment venues, drawing in approximately 1 million visitors each month.
