“Today, people need devices and technology that move with them and are ready whenever and wherever inspiration strikes,” stated Microsoft Chief Product Officer, Panos Panay, in a blog post.

“That’s the power of Surface, Windows, and Office working together through the cloud to provide the perfect tool. We designed these products together, optimizing every detail to empower your productivity and creativity.”

The Surface Pro 6 and Surface Laptop 2 now come in a sleek, matte black finish. Panay shared the team’s enthusiasm, stating, “We explore various finishes, and when we saw our devices in this beautiful matte black, we were captivated. We knew we had to share it with our customers.”

The Surface Pro 6 boasts the latest 8th generation Intel Quad Core processor, making it over 67% faster than its 5th generation predecessor. It also features a PixelSense Touch Display.

Similarly, the Surface Laptop 2 features enhanced performance with a new Quad Core 8th generation Intel processor, making it 85% faster than the original Surface Laptop. Along with its premium design, it features a PixelSense Touch Display, a top-of-the-line keyboard and trackpad, and an impressive 14.5 hours of battery life.

The Surface Studio 2 claims the title of the most powerful Surface yet. Designed for creators, it offers a vibrant display, high graphics performance, and fast processing speeds. These capabilities stem from its Pascal graphics and a GPU that boasts a 50% speed increase. The new Surface Studio is 38% brighter with 22% more contrast compared to its predecessor. Furthermore, it’s optimized for use with the Surface Pen, offering 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity, tilt sensitivity for nuanced drawing and sketching, and minimal ink latency.

Completing the Surface lineup are the Surface Headphones. Panay highlights their versatility, saying, “Whether you’re in an open office, a cafĂ©, or on the move, Surface Headphones help you control your audio environment. They provide exceptional sound quality and 13 levels of ambient noise control.”

While designed to enhance the Surface experience, the headphones are compatible with any Bluetooth-enabled device. Two beam-forming microphones on each earcup, totaling eight, ensure clear call quality. Intuitive on-ear dials allow for easy volume and noise cancellation adjustments.
