“The launch of Hyatt Regency Suzhou is a significant move for Hyatt as we expand our brand presence in China,” stated Christopher Koehler, Vice President of Operations for Hyatt in China. “We aim to create valuable connections among global business and leisure travelers.”

Situated in the Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP), the Hyatt Regency Suzhou is an integral part of Jinghope Plaza, a newly developed complex encompassing a high-end shopping mall, entertainment options, and two Grade-A office towers.

The Hyatt Regency Suzhou, with a subway station right at its doorstep, is poised to be a crucial link between Suzhou and Shanghai, offering guests unparalleled convenience. It’s a mere 25-minute train ride to Shanghai, a one-hour drive to Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport, and just 10 minutes by car to the Suzhou SIP Railway Station, a major transportation center in the Yangtze River Delta region. The Suzhou International Expo Center is also conveniently located nearby.

The hotel boasts 355 generously sized guest rooms and suites, complemented by a Regency Club. It features five dining establishments and lounges, over 15,000 square feet of modern meeting and event spaces, and rejuvenating spa and wellness facilities.

“We’re thrilled to introduce the Hyatt Regency brand’s world-renowned dining, hospitality, and amenities to one of China’s most historically rich cities,” said Gary Chan, General Manager of the Hyatt Regency Suzhou. “With a dynamic team of seasoned event organizers and dedicated hoteliers, we’re excited to welcome guests from the local community and across the globe.”

The Hyatt Regency Suzhou presents a culinary journey with its blend of international flavors and authentic regional dishes crafted from fresh, seasonal ingredients. Hua Chi 88, the hotel’s Chinese restaurant, specializes in authentic Suzhou and Huaiyang cuisine, Taihu Boat cuisine inspired by the nearby Tai Lake, and Peking duck roasted to perfection in a traditional fruitwood-fired oven. The live show kitchens throughout the dining area provide an added element of entertainment. Six private dining rooms offer breathtaking views through expansive windows and come equipped with private bathrooms.

The Fireplace, an international grill restaurant with a European bistro ambiance, features an open kitchen serving up mouthwatering Italian pizzas and grilled specialties. It also boasts a mosaic and marble bar that exudes a distinct Manhattan vibe.

For lighter fare, Tea House on the ground floor offers snacks, beverages, cocktails, and complimentary Wi-Fi.

The Atrium, situated beneath the impressive 29-story atrium, provides an ideal setting for casual meetings and social gatherings. Market Cafe, located on the second floor, boasts double-height windows and presents guests with a diverse culinary experience from various live cooking stations.

The Hyatt Regency Suzhou is an exceptional venue for any event, offering over 15,000 square feet of meeting and event space. The Residence, an innovative event space, comprises four multi-functional rooms bathed in natural light from large French windows, with a capacity of up to 360 guests. The rooms feature adaptable sliding screens that open into a spacious foyer and a dedicated Loft Kitchen, fully equipped to cater to diverse dining experiences. The Residence is perfect for conferences, meetings, and cocktail receptions.

Designed with a contemporary flair, the 6,240-square-foot Regency Ballroom can accommodate up to 450 guests for cocktails and 340 for private dining. For smaller events, the ballroom can be divided into two separate spaces. A spacious VIP/Bridal Dressing Room and lounge are also available.

All venues are outfitted with cutting-edge technology, communication systems, and complimentary wireless Internet access. A private street-front entrance adds an element of exclusivity.
