LG’s New B8S 4K OLED TV Offers High-End Features at an Accessible Price

LG Electronics, a top OLED TV brand, is strengthening its market position with the new LG B8S 4K OLED TV. This Korean-made TV joins the 2018 4K OLED lineup, boasting impressive features like the α (Alpha) 7 processor, 4K Cinema HDR, and LG’s ThinQ Artificial Intelligence (AI).

The α7 processor delivers lifelike images characterized by rich colors, sharp details, and impressive depth, enhancing realism. A dual-step noise reduction process diminishes grain and banding noise for clearer, smoother pictures. This processor also elevates color performance through advanced mapping capabilities.

This TV utilizes LG’s proprietary algorithm for an enhanced viewing experience. The LG B8S OLED TV also features 4K Cinema HDR, including support for Advanced HDR by Technicolor and other major HDR formats. The cinematic experience is further enriched by Dolby Atmos, which provides object-based surround sound.

Powered by the 5th generation webOS TV operating system, LG’s ThinQ AI TV offers a convenient launcher bar for easy access to and switching between apps like Netflix, YouTube, Toggle, and LG Gallery. Users can also access commonly used functions like the web browser or TV scheduler. The 2018 LG TVs also integrate the latest ThinQ AI technology, enabling intelligent voice-activated control. Viewers can speak directly into the remote control for voice commands, executing actions like setting the TV timer, changing the picture mode without manual navigation, or searching for content recommendations.
