Singtel introduces a new prepaid SIM card that also functions as a travel card

Singtel has introduced the hi!Tourist EZ-Link SIM card, a first in Asia, which combines a prepaid SIM card with a stored value travel card usable for Singapore’s public transportation.

Priced at S$18, this SIM card provides 100 GB of 4G data, unlimited access to social media and messaging apps, and 1 GB of roaming data for select countries in the region. It also includes S$3 in credit for travel on Singapore’s public trains and buses, which can be topped up as needed.

Tourists presenting this card can enjoy a complimentary round trip on the Singapore Cable Car – Sentosa line (valued at S$15) and discounts of up to 25% on chosen Sentosa attractions and packages offered by the One Faber Group. Additional benefits include dining deals from restaurant reservation platform HungryGoWhere and KFC.

As a top Asian tourist destination, Singapore welcomed over 9 million international visitors in the first half of 2018 alone, marking an 8% growth compared to the same period the previous year.
