Preview of Singapore Gifts Show 2015

The Singapore Gifts Show (SGS) 2015, held from July 8th to 10th at Suntec Singapore, presented a diverse selection of uniquely Singaporean gifts.

A sample pack from organizer TTG Events included the NYP Postcard Set, SG50 Tattoos, Makan Buddies LEGO Minifig, Miniature Tea Book – Volume II, and a Suction Mug.

Makan Buddies LEGO Minifig (Graceland Gifts, Booth B21)

These personalized LEGO figures demonstrate the potential for designing and 3D printing unique minifigures, as they are known by LEGO enthusiasts. This particular minifigure from the Makan Buddies series features the words “roti prata,” but could be customized with corporate branding instead. Minifiglabs designers, working within the LEGO aesthetic, ensure seamless integration with existing LEGO minifigure styles. Customizations can be printed with up to 1,800dpi resolution.

SG50 Tattoos (Booth F16)

Temporary tattoo booths are popular attractions at corporate events. In celebration of Singapore’s 50th anniversary, Gumtoo offers designer SG50 tattoos. Clients can choose from six SG50 designs or have their logos transformed into temporary tattoos. Custom creations are also possible with Gumtoo’s design services.

**Miniature Tea Book – Volume II **(Oriental Royalty Singapore, Booth F11)

Basilur Tea presents an assortment of pure Ceylon black tea blended with natural fruits, herbs, and festive flavors, all within packaging designed to resemble an intricately crafted book. The Basilur tea book collection is known for its unique blends, innovative packaging, and features, such as pyramid tea bags.

NYP Postcard Set (NYP Pavilion)

This playful collection of postcards celebrates Singapore’s most cherished childhood memories and well-known local sayings. Designed by first-year Visual Communication Diploma students from Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP), the “A Moment of Singapore” series was specially created for Singapore’s jubilee and showcased as part of the SG50 _Singaplural _exhibition.

Suction Mug (Advantrade Supplies, Booth C19)

The first of their kind in Singapore, these mugs feature a bottom grip pad, making them less susceptible to accidental tipping, drops, and spills.
