Shopee, a popular online marketplace in Southeast Asia and Taiwan, is now offering preorders for the new GoPro HERO5 cameras.

GoPro’s founder and CEO, Nicholas Woodman, introduced the HERO5 on September 19th, alongside a cloud-based software platform and the Karma drone.
Woodman emphasized the company’s commitment to easy storytelling: “With these new products, we’re making it simpler to capture and share compelling stories. HERO5’s automatic photo and video uploads to GoPro Plus streamline the entire process of editing, sharing, and enjoying your experiences on the go. It’s a game-changer that we’ll continue to improve.”
A key feature of the HERO5 cameras is their integration with GoPro Plus, a subscription service that allows users to access, edit, and share their GoPro content from anywhere.
Priced at US$399.99, the waterproof HERO5 Black is GoPro’s most powerful and user-friendly model yet. Here are some of its key features:

- Automatic photo and video uploads to the cloud while charging*

Both HERO5 cameras will be available on Shopee Malaysia starting October 3rd. The HERO5 Session is priced at RM1,299, while the HERO5 Black will retail for RM1,749. The Karma drone will also be available for preorder at the same time for RM3,999.

The Karma drone is compact, fitting easily into a backpack, and features an image-stabilization grip that can be used handheld or mounted on vehicles and other gear.
