LG Electronics (LG) has introduced LG Pra.L, its high-end line of at-home beauty devices, in Singapore. The collection includes four devices: the Dual Cleanser, Galvanic Ion Booster, Total Lift Up Care, and Derma LED Mask, each designed to cleanse, nourish, lift, and firm the skin.
Inspired by the idea that beauty comes from within, LG Pra.L aims to elevate skincare routines for quicker, visible results. All four devices prioritize user convenience with features like silicone handles for grip, voice-guided instructions, USB-C charging, and long battery life for portability.
Dual Cleanser
The Pra.L Dual Cleanser provides a thorough cleanse using two brush heads: a silicone option for daily use and a fine fiber brush for deeper cleaning. The device automatically adjusts its mode based on the attached brush.
Two cleansing levels cater to different needs: Level 1 for daily cleansing (70 seconds) and Level 2 for a more intensive clean (120 seconds). Using LG’s Dual Motion technology, the cleanser combines rotating motions with micro-vibrations to reach even difficult areas, effectively minimizing pores, dead skin cells, and blackheads. Its IPX7 waterproof rating ensures safe use in the shower, and a UV-equipped cradle sanitizes the brush when not in use. The compact design and month-long battery life make it ideal for travel.
Galvanic Ion Booster
The LG Pra.L Galvanic Ion Booster optimizes skincare absorption by effectively removing dead skin cells. Utilizing iontophoresis (an electrical current that pushes nutrients into the skin), ultrasonic waves, and thermal therapy, the device cleanses and preps the skin for better product absorption. A triangular head crafted from medical-grade material ensures durability and smooth gliding over facial contours. Its wireless design and two-week battery life add to its portability.
The device features two modes: Cleansing Mode uses heat to open pores and remove impurities, while Boost Mode utilizes ultrasonic waves and iontophoresis to further open pores and deliver skincare ingredients. A soothing heat massage follows to ease facial tension. For optimal results, begin with Cleansing Mode, followed by Boost Mode.
For a more radiant complexion, use each mode for nine minutes daily for two weeks.
Total Lift Up Care
Recognizing the natural decline of collagen production with age, LG’s Total Lift Up Care device helps restore a youthful appearance through tightening and lifting functions.
This device offers two modes: Tightening Mode combines high-frequency thermal therapy with red LED light to stimulate collagen production in deeper skin layers, while Lifting Mode utilizes microcurrents to tighten and lift by stimulating skin tissue and muscles. The device head, like the Galvanic Ion Booster, is made from durable, medical-grade material.
Clinical trials show improvement in skin elasticity and a slimmer facial appearance after using the Total Lift Up Care twice a week for eight weeks. The device boasts a two-week battery life on a single charge.
Derma LED Mask
The LG Pra.L Derma LED Mask utilizes 160 LEDs (80 red and 80 infrared), emitting varying wavelengths of light to reach different skin depths. This process rejuvenates skin layers and promotes cell regeneration for firmer, more radiant skin. LG suggests that results are noticeable after four weeks of daily nine-minute sessions.
This safe and effective mask is the only Korean-made product of its kind to receive FDA clearance. Rigorous research and testing ensure that the mask delivers the optimal amount of light during each nine-minute session for both safety and effectiveness.
A silicone eyeshield protects the eyes from LED glare while providing comfort. Additionally, a Sensing Detector ensures the mask only functions when correctly positioned on the face. The mask’s transparent visor allows users to multitask during their treatment. Like other Pra.L devices, the Derma LED Mask offers a convenient seven-day battery life on a single charge.
