“We carefully considered extensive customer feedback after the recent debut of our P300 workstation,” stated Jessie Quek, Lenovo Singapore’s Country General Manager. “Based on this feedback, we developed the newest additions to our ThinkStation P Series. These workstations are engineered to deliver unparalleled performance, reliability, and a superior user experience.”
The Lenovo ThinkStation models P500, P700, and P900 are professional-grade desktop workstations designed for efficiency. They offer compact designs and energy-saving features. The latest Intel Xeon processors provide significant processing power, and NVIDIA Quadro graphics cards handle demanding visualization tasks.
The ThinkStation P Series features a modular design. This allows users to easily upgrade essential parts like the motherboard and power supply without needing tools. These machines include a FLEX Bay. It can accommodate an optical drive or the FLEX Module, which supports an ultraslim optical drive, a media card reader, or Firewire (IEEE 1394). Additionally, professionals can enhance functionality without sacrificing rear PCIe slots by using a mezzanine card. This card connects to the motherboard and enables support for SATA/SAS/PCIe storage and advanced RAID solutions.
Lenovo ThinkStation workstations maintain optimal temperatures using a patented tri-channel cooling system. This system utilizes three hot-pluggable fans situated at different levels within the workstation to maximize cooling efficiency.
Lenovo’s innovative ThinkCentre TiO 23 modular All-in-One (AIO) provides businesses with adaptable options. The TiO lets you create a 23-inch AIO system using any current ThinkCentre Tiny PC (sold separately). Unlike traditional AIO computers with permanently integrated monitors and computers, the TiO employs a detachable ThinkCentre Tiny PC. This Tiny PC securely locks into the back of the monitor without the need for tools. This adaptable design allows users to customize their AIO’s performance to their specific requirements. When it’s time for an upgrade or system maintenance, users can simply swap out the old Tiny PC for a new one, minimizing downtime to less than two minutes.
Quek emphasized that the TiO “revolutionizes the way businesses approach IT refresh cycles and cost management.” She highlighted the convenience and remarkably compact size of the Tiny PCs, describing them as “roughly the size of four golf balls by three golf balls” and weighing about the same as a one-liter bottle of Evian water.
The TiO boasts a 23-inch Full HD display, front-accessible USB 3.0 audio ports, an optional optical disc drive (ODD), and an ergonomic stand with tilt and height adjustments. It uses a single standard Lenovo power adapter for both the monitor and the Tiny PC. The system’s VESA compatibility offers users deployment flexibility, allowing them to use it with various VESA-compatible mounts, stands, and brackets.
The Tiny-in-One also prioritizes enhanced physical security for the Tiny PC. It incorporates a robust locking mechanism that secures both the Tiny PC and the optional ODD module within the system when a Kensington cable lock is attached.
The Lenovo ThinkStation P500, P700, and P900 will be available starting at S$1,100, S$2,500, and S$3,200, respectively. The ThinkCentre Tiny-in-One monitor will have a starting price of S$449, while the ThinkCentre Tiny-in-One (which includes the ThinkCentre M53) will be priced starting at S$749.
