Kinetika Xtreme is unveiling innovative workout technology designed to enhance fitness levels

Ghaneswaran Sukumaran holds a certification from Italy and is one of only two TechnoGym Master Trainers in Singapore. His wife, Santhi Haridass, is the other. As the owner of Kinetika Xtreme, a gym in Singapore’s Turf City that specializes in movement-based functional training, Sukumaran expresses concern that many individuals join gyms without proper research and engage in exercises that may be detrimental in the long term.

“Many people equate weight loss with fat loss and believe that excessive jogging is the key to achieving a slim physique. However, this is a misconception. Losing weight doesn’t automatically mean losing fat. To effectively shed fat and tone muscles, a combination of cardio and resistance training is essential, rather than solely relying on jogging,” he explains.

“At Kinetika, our dedicated trainers are committed to empowering members with the knowledge to enhance their fitness. We provide guidance during workouts and closely monitor their progress.”

Here’s a glimpse of what Kinetika Xtreme members can expect:

Each Kinesis session accommodates a maximum of eight members.

Kinesis circuit training combines cardio and resistance exercises. Utilizing Full Gravity Technology, Kinesis enables 360° tri-dimensional movement, providing variable resistance tailored to the range and angle of motion. Unlike traditional weights, the Kinesis pulley system allows for unrestricted movement, not limited by gravity.

Kinetika Xtreme boasts eight sets of Kinesis Class equipment, the most extensive collection among gyms in Singapore.

TechnoGym-certified trainers at Kinetika Xtreme provide individualized attention, gradually increasing exercise intensity while minimizing the risk of injuries and maximizing outcomes.

Dedicated instructors monitor members from the outset of their training program. Trainers meticulously track body statistics, including weight, height, body fat, and muscle mass. Additionally, Kinetika’s unique Vitruvio Testing assesses flexibility and balance, enabling trainers to tailor programs based on individual body types, strengths, and weaknesses.

Sukumaran demonstrates the “Fire” element ARKE exercise to a Kinetika Xtreme member.

The ARKE training system is a core-focused regimen emphasizing natural movement. Derived from the Greek word for ’the origin of things,’ ARKE training comprises four categories inspired by natural elements, each reflecting exercise type, intensity, and position. Earth (green) focuses on stability and proprioception; air (orange) emphasizes dynamism and reaction time; water (blue) targets agility and balance; and fire (red) promotes adaptability and control.

A trainer leads cool-down stretches to relax muscles and prevent injuries after a 45-minute high-intensity workout.

Kinetika Xtreme emphasizes the significance of stretching for effective training. Each session concludes with guided cool-down stretches led by TechnoGym-certified trainers. These stretches target muscle groups engaged during the workout, aiming to minimize the risk of injuries and promote muscle relaxation after 45 minutes of intense exercise.
