*The Smile Singapore campaign, initiated by Clarke Quay Central, was conceived in response to a 2012 Gallup Poll that ranked Singapore as the least emotional and happiest country globally. In 2013, the campaign gathered 1,909 smiling portraits and displayed them in Clarke Quay Central, establishing a new Singapore Book of Records entry for the ‘largest display of photos.’ The most recent World Happiness Report placed Singapore 24th, indicating a positive shift from earlier findings.
