Changi Airport Group (CAG) collaborated with Singaporean singer-songwriter JJ Lin on his new song, “The Right Time.”

Inspired by the April opening of Jewel Changi Airport, Lin shared that the Rain Vortex, Jewel’s impressive waterfall centerpiece, sparked his creativity for this piece.

Lin composed the music for “The Right Time” with lyrics by Xiaohan. Filmed in July, the music video showcases Jewel’s waterfall and lush surroundings, featuring Lin alongside popular regional actor Christopher Lee.

“Life presents perfect moments and places for magic, where dreams take flight and love stories begin,” Lin remarked. “This song celebrates those unexpected encounters and the interplay between choices and destiny.”

He continued, “Creating a song for the Rain Vortex is an honor. Jewel will undoubtedly draw visitors to Singapore from around the world.”

The video will showcase Jewel’s unique beauty, and we hope the universal language of music will introduce Jewel to a wider audience."

Lin reminisced about spending time with friends at Changi Airport’s fast food restaurants and cafes, even studying for exams there. “It was a popular gathering place for my classmates and me,” he shared.

As a frequent traveler, Lin feels a strong connection to Changi Airport. He explained, “Changi is a global hub fostering connections, both personal and professional. It’s a haven for weary travelers to recharge during long journeys.”

Changi Airport connects Singapore to 380 cities globally with over 100 airlines, managing around 7,400 flights weekly—approximately one every 80 seconds. Jewel adds to Changi Airport’s offerings, totaling over 500 retail and dining options and more than 260 food and beverage choices.
