Six Senses partnered with Sleep Doctor Dr. Michael Breus to launch its improved sleep standard called Sleep With Six Senses. Currently, five resorts offer this standard, with complete implementation across all locations expected by mid-2017. All future resorts will feature this program from their opening day.

The experience begins with a pre-arrival online questionnaire. This allows a designated Sleep Ambassador to understand the guest’s relationship with sleep and tailor the room accordingly. Based on the responses, each ambassador provides customized tools and tips for improving sleep quality.

Sleep Ambassadors are specially trained individuals, chosen from a passionate group of Six Senses leaders, who underwent a program designed by Dr. Breus. They meticulously prepare each guest room before arrival, noting preferences, and ensuring optimal sleep conditions each evening. Additionally, they are available throughout the day to assist and support guests.

The foundation of this program lies in carefully chosen items, rigorously tested for 24 months by Six Senses experts. Handmade mattresses from Naturalmat, crafted from 100% natural, sustainable, and biodegradable materials, take center stage. Complementing these are organic pillows and duvets from Hanse, featuring natural breathing and cooling zones for temperature regulation. High-quality organic cotton sheets are supplied by Beaumont & Brown, while towels and bathrobes are from Madison Collection.

Guests seeking further sleep enhancement can choose to upgrade their experience. This package includes a Sleep Bag, Valley Forge moisture-wicking linens, and a Withings Aura Sleep Tracker/App. Data from the app is then reviewed with a Six Senses Integrated Wellness Practitioner during a 30-minute personal consultation. This consultation may result in personalized spa treatments and activities designed to further enhance sleep quality.

The Sleep Bag offers a collection of specially curated sleep aids. These include bamboo fiber pajamas, an eye mask, earplugs, nose strips, a nasal neti pot, and a jasmine sleep spritzer. Additionally, guests can enjoy a bathroom amenity from The Organic Pharmacy and utilize the Six Senses Little Book of Wellness, which includes a worry journal section for jotting down nighttime anxieties. A thumb drive containing Six Senses videos featuring Dr. Breus provides further sleep suggestions and professional guidance.

Before departure, each guest receives personalized sleep tips and information on purchasing the products they experienced during their stay. This allows them to continue their pursuit of restful sleep at home.
