HubSpot has officially launched its Singapore office and revealed plans to add 150 employees to its Singapore-based team over the next three years. Currently, HubSpot Singapore has 30 employees.

The Singapore office, warmly referred to as SingSpot, joins the Sydney, Australia office as HubSpot’s second location in the Asia Pacific region and will serve as the company’s Asia Pacific headquarters. HubSpot’s first foray into the Asia Pacific market was in 2014. This move was driven by a desire to broaden the company’s global presence and support the region’s mid-market companies and data-driven sales and marketing professionals. These individuals and organizations are seeking a more tailored and unified approach to conducting business.

HubSpot is an inbound marketing and sales platform that aligns marketing and sales strategies with modern consumer behaviors, according to its President and COO JD Sherman. The company champions inbound marketing as a superior alternative to traditional “outbound” marketing techniques, such as purchasing advertising, procuring email lists, and passively hoping for leads. Inbound marketing emphasizes the creation of content designed to organically draw individuals towards a brand.

With an expanded footprint in Singapore and staff representing nearly every facet of HubSpot’s operations—including sales, marketing, services, and support—HubSpot is well-positioned to capitalize on its recent momentum and growth. “HubSpot has an incredible opportunity for growth in Asia Pacific and we could not be happier to be celebrating that with a new office and a commitment to hiring 150 new employees,” shared Sherman, adding that he’s highly encouraged by the company’s progress and momentum thus far.

“HubSpot’s Singapore-based team will be central to the impact we’re making across Asia Pacific and the growth and success of our customers in the region,” he said.

Reflecting on HubSpot’s expansion into Ireland, Sherman identified three key factors contributing to HubSpot’s international success: its inbound marketing strategy, assembling a high-performing founding team characterized by strong internal dynamics and collaboration, and placing a strong leader at the helm.

As HubSpot extends its presence throughout the Asia Pacific, the team will operate under the leadership of Jeetu Mahtani, Managing Director of International for HubSpot, based in Singapore. Mahtani reported a 77% year-over-year growth in HubSpot’s international business, highlighting Singapore as an optimal location due to its robust talent pool, world-class infrastructure—including Changi Airport—and the new headquarters’ convenient access to prospects, existing clients, and agency partners.

“HubSpot has just scratched the surface of what we can achieve in Asia Pacific. We’re looking forward to creating remarkable experiences and results for our customers across the region and so excited to do so with a full team on the ground in Singapore. With the right team in place, we’ll be unstoppable,” he said.

The office design incorporates key elements characteristic of HubSpot offices globally, along with distinctive Singaporean touches. The “East Meets West” theme is evident in the use of corrugated metal and nautical accents, paying homage to the area’s history as a prominent shipping center.
