The vivoactive 3 Music.
Garmin Singapore has launched the vívoactive 3 Music, a GPS smartwatch that incorporates both music playback and Garmin Pay contactless payments. Users can make purchases directly from their wrist using their Garmin Pay wallet, enjoying the same benefits as their physical cards but with added convenience.
According to Jimmy Chuang, Regional Product Manager at Garmin, the company aims to make its products an integral part of everyday life, and they believe music is a key feature in achieving that goal.
Engelhard Al Sundoro, Managing Director of Garmin Southeast Asia, highlighted music’s motivational power during workouts. He expressed excitement in providing customers the ability to leave their phones behind and listen to their favorite tunes directly from their wrist. With Garmin Pay eliminating the need for a wallet, getting going is easier than ever.
Building upon the fitness, wellness, and connectivity features of its predecessor, the vívoactive 3, the vívoactive 3 Music allows users to store up to 500 songs directly on the device. Music can be transferred from a computer, and once loaded, users can pair the smartwatch with compatible Bluetooth headphones to enjoy their music on the go.
The vívoactive 3 Music is packed with features, including Elevate wrist-based heart rate monitoring and over 15 preloaded GPS and indoor sports apps for activities like yoga, running, and strength training. Its always-on Garmin Chroma Display ensures readability even in bright sunlight.
Like other Garmin wearables, it is designed for swimming and showering. The battery lasts up to seven days in smartwatch mode and five hours when using GPS and music.
Customization is a breeze with thousands of watch faces, widgets, data fields, and apps available for download from the Garmin Connect IQ store. The AccuWeather MinuteCast app provides convenient weather forecasts.
The redesigned Garmin Connect platform tracks activity stats, allowing users to compare daily totals with past results and access detailed information. The platform can be personalized to display the most relevant data based on individual goals. Users can connect with others for motivation, participate in challenges and competitions, and earn Garmin Connect badges for achieving their goals.
