Firefly Airlines has resumed flights between Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport in Subang, Malaysia, and Seletar Airport in Singapore.

Firefly’s first flight on this route to Seletar took place in April 2019, but flights were put on hold in March 2020 due to the pandemic. Now, the airline will offer two flights every day between Kuala Lumpur and Singapore, operating out of Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport and Seletar Airport.
Firefly CEO Philip See highlighted the significance of restarting this route, emphasizing its role in connecting travelers for both leisure and business. He noted that Singapore is a key destination for the airline, and the resumption of flights will benefit both countries’ economies, particularly the tourism industry.
Tan Lye Teck expressed enthusiasm for the return of Firefly flights, pointing out the convenience they offer travelers moving between Seletar Airport and Kuala Lumpur. He confirmed ongoing support for Firefly’s Singapore operations and highlighted collaborative efforts with airport partners to ensure smooth and efficient travel experiences for passengers.
Passengers flying Firefly to and from Seletar Airport will enjoy perks such as a complimentary baggage allowance of 20 kg, expedited check-in and boarding procedures, and complimentary refreshments during the flight. For added comfort and convenience, passengers can choose from bundled service options like Plus, Extra, or Flex fares. These bundles offer enhanced benefits such as a 25 kg baggage allowance, unlimited flight changes, priority boarding, seat selection, travel insurance, and miles for the Enrich loyalty program.
Travelers should be aware that full vaccination status and adherence to all standard operating procedures (SOPs) established by both countries are mandatory for booking. International flights are contingent upon approval from local governments and regulatory bodies.
