Hotel Jen Tanglin’s popular “Fully-Loaded” holiday takeaway meal is back. This offering features a whole roasted turkey, accompanied by all the fixings, conveniently packaged in a thermal bag. It’s designed to easily serve 10 to 12 guests.
According to Vathsala Subramaniam, General Manager of Hotel Jen Tanglin Singapore, they’ve crafted a special Asian roasted turkey using the “percik” style. This approach aims to blend tradition with a distinct Asian flavor. For those with bigger parties, ordering both the Western and Asian style turkeys ensures a diverse culinary experience for everyone.
In addition to the takeaway meal, the hotel is hosting a special “Festive Seafood Buffet” at their signature seafood restaurant, J65. The buffet presents a tempting array of seafood delights, such as snow crab on ice, seafood Thermidor, grilled baby lobster with tarragon butter, whole baked Norwegian salmon, and the iconic Singapore chilli crab. Festive favorites like turkey, slow roasted prime rib beef, and holiday-themed desserts round out the offerings. Premium seafood options like Fine de Claire oysters, Boston lobsters, and tandoori turkey are available exclusively from Friday to Sunday.
A media preview provided a sneak peek of the “Festive Seafood Buffet” with bite-sized samples, including:

Notes:
Percik recipes typically involve marinating chicken in a blend of spices before roasting.
Fine de Claire oysters, known for their leaner yet juicier profile compared to other oyster varieties, are sourced from France. Before harvesting, these oysters are matured in shallow, rectangular saltwater pools known as ‘claires’. The unique flavor of these oysters is a result of the specific water conditions and phytoplankton present in the claires.
