A Facebook-themed mahjong table offers another avenue for fostering connections and spontaneous interactions.

Local artists have been commissioned to enrich the office’s aesthetic appeal. Dawn Ng’s artwork on the staircases creates the illusion of being enveloped in a whirlwind of pink confetti. Additionally, a wall is dedicated to showcasing a photography exhibition by renowned Instagram photographer Aik Beng Chia.

Meeting rooms boast intriguing names like “Kopi C Siu Tai,” “Same Same” and “Only Different,” and “Hiverabad” – a clever fusion of “hive” and “Hyderabad.” One particularly ingenious name is “C++ SEA,” referencing the programming language “C++” and the acronym for Southeast Asia.

Inspirational posters are ubiquitous throughout the Facebook office. One particularly resonant message reads: “Nothing at Facebook is somebody else’s problem.”

Instagram’s Anti-Gravity Room presents unique opportunities for capturing creative images.

An “office supplies vending machine” dispenses essential stationery and electronics accessories, sparing Facebook employees the hassle of formal requisitions or shopping trips.
