12 Treasures Turkey | S$268, serves eight to 10 people - New for 2017

Created by Master Chef Goh Chee Kong from the hotel’s Modern Sichuan and Cantonese restaurant, Min Jiang at One-North, the 12 Treasures Turkey features 12 premium ingredients, representing each of the 12 days of Christmas. These ingredients include abalone, fresh chestnuts, dried scallops, lingzhi mushrooms, shiitake mushrooms, water chestnuts, conch, Euryale seeds, potatoes, lotus seeds, and salted egg yolk. The turkey is marinated, baked, stuffed, and baked again to enhance its flavors.

Around the World in ‘Turkey’ Days | S$128, serves six people - New for 2017

This special platter offers four internationally-inspired turkey dishes: turkey bulgogi puff, turkey gyoza, turkey Sriracha, and turkey shepherd’s pie. Each order includes six portions of the first three items and a glass tray of the shepherd’s pie.

Turkey bulgogi puffs.

Turkey Bulgogi Puff
Crispy puffs filled with turkey marinated in a soy-sugar sesame-chilli sauce, kimchi, and cheddar cheese. (Editor’s note: These were crispy and addictive, with a surprisingly spicy kick!)

Turkey sriracha pita pockets.

Turkey Sriracha
Pita pockets filled with salad, tender roasted turkey marinated in Sriracha hot sauce, and a sour cream dip.
(Editor’s note: This is mildly spicy - those who prefer more heat might want to add extra sauce.)

Turkey Gyoza
Japanese dumplings filled with minced turkey and pan-fried until crispy.
(Editor’s note: Enjoy these with dark vinegar and slivers of young ginger, just like traditional gyoza.)

Turkey Shepherd’s Pie
This version of the classic pie features a filo pastry crust and a filling made with sweet potato and turkey.
(Editor’s note: The contrast between the crispy filo pastry and the smooth, creamy filling is delightful.)

Cold Capellini Pasta with Alaskan Crab, Ebi Caviar, and Truffle Vinaigrette | S$108, serves four people - New for 2017

This appetizer, a signature dish from Gordon Grill, is served chilled. It features a generous amount of ebi caviar and is subtly enhanced with white truffle oil.
(Editor’s note: The truffle oil adds new layers of flavor to the dish.)

A new roast turkey roulade is also available on the savory takeaway menu.

Pastry Chef Joe Tan has created tempting sweet treats, including:

Logs in two flavours for twice the enjoyment.

Logs in two flavours for twice the enjoyment.

Zesty Logs | S$52 per pair, 500g total - New for 2017

This log cake features two distinct flavors. The lighter log is made with apple mousse, calamansi cream, and chiffon sponge, while the darker log features Caraibe chocolate orange-scented cream and a flourless chocolate sponge. Both logs are presented on a bed of apple mousse calamansi cream with chiffon sponge.
(Editor’s note: The two logs offer contrasting flavors that complement each other well. The light and subtle apple mousse calamansi cream provides a pleasant contrast to the richer, more intense flavors of the chocolate and citrus sponge.)

Silent Night Sphere | S$28 each - New for 2017

This interactive dessert features a hollow white chocolate sphere decorated with a midnight-blue finish and starry highlights. Guests can pour the accompanying warm chocolate sauce over the sphere and watch as it melts, revealing five hidden treats: macarons, Maltesers, gummy bears, marshmallows, and dried cranberries, all coated in a layer of white and warm chocolate sauce.
(Editor’s note: This dessert is definitely Snapchat-worthy! For the best visual effect, pour the sauce in a circular motion over the top of the sphere. Watch the Instavideo)

Mini Mousse-icles | S$16 for three pieces - New for 2017

These colorful, miniature mousse pops on a stick are available in three flavors: bittersweet Guanaja chocolate mousse dipped in a thick chocolate shell and topped with crunchy chocolate pearls, summer berries mousse with a jelly center and a pink chocolate coating, and yuzu mousse with a yellow chocolate shell and a sprinkle of edible purple flowers.
(Editor’s note: As these desserts warm up at room temperature, the ice cream sticks can slide out, so it’s best to enjoy these with a spoon. The chocolate version was my personal favorite - imagine a thick, Magnum-like chocolate shell encasing rich and decadent chocolate mousse, with bursts of texture from the crunchy pearls.)

Guest favorites will also be returning, including:

Mao Shan Wang log cake.

A D24 version is also available. The Goodwood D24 Durian Christmas Log Cake is priced at S$77 for 1kg. The hotel’s popular durian puffs will also be returning for the holiday season at S$42 for 10 pieces.
