Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has released the operating schedules for its services during the Eid al-Fitr holidays. The schedule covers various services, including customer service centers, parking, public buses, Dubai Metro and Tram, marine transit, driving institutes, and vehicle testing and registration centers.

Moaza Al Marri, RTA’s Director of Marketing & Corporate Communication, stated that Customer Service Centers will be closed for the Eid al-Fitr holiday from Sunday, July 3rd, 2016, and will reopen on Sunday, July 10th, 2016. Paid parking zones in Dubai will be free of charge, except for the Fish Market and Multi-level Parking terminal, starting Sunday, July 3rd, with regular parking fees resuming on Saturday, July 9th.
Al Marri also noted that trains will run on an almost 24-hour schedule during the holidays.
Red Line stations
Tuesday, July 5th: 5:30 am to 11:59 pm.
Wednesday, July 6th: 12 am to 2 am; 5:50 am to 11:59 pm.
Thursday, July 7th: 12 am to 2 am; 5:30 am to 11:59 pm.
Friday, July 8th: 12 am to 2 am; 10 am to 11:59 pm.
Saturday, July 9th: 12 am to 2 am.
Green Line stations
July 5th: 5:50 am to 11:59 pm
July 6th-7th: 12 am to 2 am; 5:50 am to 11:59 pm
July 8th: 12 am to 2 am; 10 am to 11:59 pm
July 9th: 12 am to 2 am.
The tram service will be available from July 5th to 7th, running from 6:30 am to 1 am the following day. On July 8th, the tram service will commence at 9 am and operate until 1 am on July 9th.
The C01 bus route will operate continuously. Other public bus routes will have adjusted schedules:
Main bus stations (e.g., Gold Souk):
July 6th-7th: 5:20 am to 12 midnight (next day)
Al Ghubaiba Station and subsidiary stations (e.g., Al Qusais, Satwa):
July 6th-7th: 5 am to 12 midnight (next day)
Al Quoz Industrial Area station:
July 6th-7th: 5:30 am to 11:30 pm
Jebel Ali station:
July 6th-7th: 6 am to 10:15 pm
Metro feeder service stations (e.g., Rashidiya, Mall of the Emirates, Ibn Battuta, Abu Hail, Etisalat, Burj Khalifa Dubai Mall):
July 6th-7th: 5:15 am to 1:10 am (next day)
Commercial transport and inter-city bus services will operate on the following schedule:
Main stations (e.g., Ghubaiba):
Sharjah (Jubail): 24 hours
Abu Dhabi: 5 am to 12:50 am the following day
Services from subsidiary stations such as Sabkha will commence at 6:30 am and continue until 12 midnight.
Union Square Station: 5 am to 12:30 am the next day.
Deira City Center: 6:55 am to 10 pm.
Karama Station: 6:10 am to 10:15 pm.
Al Ahli Club Station: 7 am to 11 pm.
External stations:
Sharjah (Al Taawon): 7 am to 11:30 pm.
Al Fujairah Station: 6:45 am to 10:30 pm.
Ajman Station: 6 am to 11:30 pm.
Hatta Station: 6:30 am to 10:40 pm.
From July 5th to 7th, water buses at Marina Stations (Marina Mall, Marina Walk, Marina Terrace, Marina Promenade) will operate from 12 noon to 12 midnight.
Water taxis will run daily from 9 am to 10 pm.
At Al Ghubaiba Station, water taxis will be available from 4 pm to 10 pm.
At Dubai Marina station, they will operate from 2 pm to 10 pm.
From Jumeirah Palm Atlantis, service hours will be from 4 pm to 10 pm.
From Jumeirah Palm Station (Rexos), water taxis will run from 11 am to 5 pm.
Dubai Ferry services at Al Ghubaiba and Marina stations will operate during the Eid holidays at 11 am, 1 pm, 3 pm, 5 pm, and 6:30 pm.
Traditional abra (boats) at Dubai Creek Stations (Al Ghubaiba, Al Sabkha, Baniyas, Dubai Old Souk) will operate from 10 am to 12 midnight. Blue (electric) abras will be available at Burj Khalifa from 6 pm to 11 pm, Al Mamzar from 2 pm to 12 midnight, and Atlantis from 1 pm to 9 pm. Air-conditioned abras at Al Jaddaf will operate from 7 am to 12 midnight.
All service providers and partner centers will be closed from July 5th to 7th, 2016.
