Hilton Worldwide has expanded its presence in China with the opening of DoubleTree by Hilton Guangzhou - Science City. This new 314-room hotel joins 20 other DoubleTree by Hilton properties in the country, further strengthening Hilton Worldwide’s presence in Guangzhou, where the company manages three hotels under the Hilton Hotels & Resorts and DoubleTree by Hilton brands.

Bruce McKenzie, Senior VP of operations, Greater China & Mongolia, Hilton Worldwide, highlights the strategic importance of Science City, Guangzhou, as a thriving business hub. He emphasizes Hilton’s commitment to supporting growth in key regions of China, where they have operated for 27 years and currently have 54 hotels. The new DoubleTree by Hilton in Guangzhou directly addresses the increasing demand for quality accommodations in the area.

Strategically located in the heart of Guangzhou High Tech Development District, the hotel provides convenient access to key areas: it is adjacent to the new Huangpu District Government Administration Office, 25.5 km from Canton Fair Pazhou Complex, and 40 km from Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport. Guests can reach other major cities in the Pearl River Delta, including Hong Kong and Macao, within two hours by inter-city direct bus.
