In the last update on this Beocord 5000 (Type 4923), I was about to install new belts and replace the power supply’s electrolytic capacitors.
This post covers the completion of those tasks.

Next up are the belts.
First is the tape counter belt.
Now for the clutch wheel and flywheel belts. Replacing these requires disassembling some brackets.

Like its Beosystem 5000 counterparts, this Beocord 5000 needed new cabinet feet.
After reassembly, I connected the Beocord to its Beomaster 5000 for a quick test.
The Beocord is now functional again. Further functional testing is necessary, which will be the subject of the next post.
