From June 21st to July 15th, 2015, Bangi Golf Resort Restaurant (BGR) will be offering its special Buffet Ramadhan in honor of the holy month.

Executive Chef Kamaruddin highlights the Buffet Ramadhan’s popularity, stating that it has always been a top pick for gatherings of family, friends, and colleagues during Ramadhan. He emphasizes the restaurant’s commitment to providing a diverse menu with new offerings while upholding the quality and authentic flavors of classic dishes. Building on the previous year’s success, BGR is ready to welcome back its patrons.

BGR’s Buffet Ramadhan boasts a generous spread of nearly 200 dishes, featuring Malay, Western, and Oriental favorites. Diners can observe the culinary team in action at the open kitchen and even engage with them. Adding to the ambiance, a four-piece band will perform live traditional Malay music every evening from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm.

A notable feature this year is the Cooking Showcase, spotlighting slow-roasted lamb (kambing bakar) and Indian-style mutton stew (sup kambing mamak). This interactive station allows guests to enjoy freshly carved lamb and steaming bowls of mutton stew. The showcase also includes other freshly prepared favorites like grilled beef and chicken satay with homemade sauce and condiments, fried kway teow, and fried mee mamak.

Begin your culinary journey at the Western appetizer section with cream of smoked chicken accompanied by roasted onion focaccia or indulge in sous vide eggs enhanced with mushroom Espuma. For the main course, we highly recommend the Beef lasagna or the grilled boneless chicken complemented by a creamy mushroom sauce.

Moving on to the Malay and Oriental main courses, the culinary team presents tempting options such as butter prawns, teriyaki chicken, black pepper beef, and fish fillet with Lemongrass sauce. For those seeking traditional Malay flavors, there are classic dishes like sambal sotong kembang, ayam masak ros, and rendang daging Tiak minyak.

Churros.

Conclude your dining experience with a sweet treat from a selection of homemade cakes, puddings, fresh fruit, and a new addition for 2015: a tea-infused chocolate ganache tartlet. Another highlight is the live Spanish churros station, where you can savor these warm, crispy treats with a rich chocolate sauce. For a refreshing finish, try the unique Pacojet ice cream flavors: teh tarik, honeydew, and bunga kantan (torch ginger flower).

Prices start at RM55 for adults, and Bangi Golf Resort provides 800 complimentary parking spaces for guests’ convenience.
