Aon, a global leader in professional services offering solutions for risk, retirement, and health, has announced the six organizations that have earned the title of Best Employers Singapore 2017.

This year, Aon Best Employers saw a two-percentage-point increase in employee engagement scores, reaching 82%. This accomplishment is even more significant when compared to the average market score, which dropped three percentage points to 60%. This difference highlights the growing gap between Best Employers and other organizations.

Aon attributes the high engagement levels to an improved employee experience. Key findings showed that 80% of Aon Best Employers cultivate high-performance cultures (20 points above market average); 81% provide superior workplace infrastructure (23 points above market average); and 85% offer increased opportunities for collaboration (21 points above market average).

CEOs from Best Employer organizations identified operational/organizational efficiency and effectiveness, along with market factors, as the top challenges to their organization’s success. This differs from CEOs of other participating companies who ranked market factors and people issues as their primary concerns. This contrast underscores the critical role of a robust talent strategy in building a more productive and successful workforce.
