Acer’s CEO, Jason Chen, stated that their objective is to exceed expectations with their products at every price point. He believes these Aspire convertibles are ideal for users who require both portability and productivity.

At less than an inch thin and weighing just over 3 pounds, the Aspire R 13 Series features a 13.3" display and Acer’s unique Ezel Aero Hinge. This hinge enables the display to rotate into six different positions: Notebook, Ezel, Stand, Pad, Tent, and Display mode. Each mode caters to specific user needs, from maximizing productivity to comfortable media consumption.

The R 13 Series offers premium touch screen displays with sharp images and intricate details. Both the touchscreen and outer lid are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for durability. The displays also incorporate anti-fingerprint technology and Corning’s AR/ETC technology for reduced reflections and improved contrast. A built-in light sensor adjusts screen brightness automatically for optimal viewing.

Available in WQHD (2,560 x 1,440) or FHD (1,920 x 1,080) resolutions, both display options feature Zero Air Gap Technology for enhanced visuals. FHD models also include IPS technology for wider viewing angles.

The R 13 Series is compatible with an optional Acer Active Pen, providing pressure sensitivity, hover functionality, and palm rejection for an enhanced creative experience.

For optimal performance, the R 13 Series offers models with Intel Core i5 or i7 processors, up to 1TB Solid State Drives with RAID-0 support, and up to 8GB of memory. Audio features include Dolby Digital Plus Home Theatre and Acer Purified Voice. The R 13 also boasts a dual air-intake design for quiet and efficient operation. Models with an FHD display can achieve up to eight hours of battery life.

The R 14 Series of convertible notebooks features a 360-degree dual-torque hinge, enabling four usage modes: notebook, pad, display, and tent.

Acer’s R 14 notebook features a 360-degree dual-torque hinge design for effortless transitions between its four modes. Constructed with a robust zinc alloy and soft rubber, the hinge allows the lid to fold flat against the chassis, facilitating collaboration and creating a streamlined design in tablet mode.

The R 14 boasts a 14" HD (1,366 x 768) display with Zero Air Gap technology and supports Acer Touch Tools for intuitive interaction.

Skype-certified R 14 models are available with various Intel processors, including Pentium, Core i3, i5, or i7, and can be configured with up to 12GB of memory. Select models offer NVidia GeForce 820M graphics for enhanced visuals. Storage options include 500GB or 1TB.
