Facebook imposes a somewhat frustrating rule limiting text within ads (including images and video thumbnails) to a maximum of 20 percent. To ensure compliance and prevent your ads from being rejected by Facebook and Instagram, leverage the Facebook Text Overlay Tool. If your text spills into six or more boxes within their grid, you’ll need to refine your ad and re-check it until it meets the requirements.
